Facilities The Grammar School managed to purchase seven acres of land in the exclusive area of Panthea Hill. The first phase of the project was completed in 1992, and the second phase in 1999. These premises overlook the city of Limassol and are easily accessible by public or private transport. These premises consist of attractive lecture rooms with proper lighting, central heating, and fans, all for the comfort of the students. The Grammar School recognises the need to provide an education in Art and Design in Cyprus, which prepares students for degree courses. The school provides its students with two well-resourced Árt rooms with large studio spaces, a life studio, and studio easels. The Art rooms are well-equipped for a variety of work including painting, drawing, sculpture, collage and mosaic, modelling illustration, advertising, and 3-dimensional design.
The Biology laboratory, equipped with the appropriate apparatus and materials (microscopes, biochemicals etc.) provides the experimental skills necessary to carry out investigations, illustrative practical work and other aspects of experimental biology and fieldwork.
The Chemistry lab comprises all the facilities that are needed for acquiring basic practical skills such as the manipulation of apparatus, observation skills, and the planning of simple qualitative and quantitative experiments. Student health and safety are of primary importance and all the necessary precautions are taken to ensure that students work in a safe environment with adequate ventilation. A fume cupboard and a separate preparation room are also included.
The Grammar School in its effort to offer quality education to its students, introduced the subject of Computer Studies in 1984. Today the school provides its students with two fully equipped Computer Labs, one seating thirty students, and the other twenty-four students. Each student has access to a Computer within the school network with Multimedia for educational needs, and modems to enable the students to explore the Internet. Printers are provided for hard copies of the students' work. Furthermore, the students have access to a scanner to further enhance their knowledge and quality of their work.
Computers are used to enable the students to create their own programs using programming language (Visual Basic, Access etc.), as well as use the existing software packages (Word Processor, Database, Spreadsheet, etc.) to solve different problems.
Students are able to understand the main use and applications of Information Technology (IT). Students choosing the IGCSEs and Advanced Levels are thus fully prepared for passing the exam successfully. Other departments also have access to the computer lab in order to use specific software related to their subjects.
The aim of the Physics department is to foster the acquisition of knowledge, understanding and applications of physical concepts and principles, using, as far as possible, an experimental approach. This is to enable students to derive some enjoyment and satisfaction from the study of Physics.
The laboratory is fully equipped according to these standards and has everything expected of a modern school Physics lab. This enables even the younger students to benefit from hands on practical work and demonstrations so they can develop manipulative and observational skills.
The second phase also includes a new library with a volume of twelve thousand books and periodicals which the students have access to for reading and research purposes. The library can seat over forty students comfortably. The students are also able to use computers for access to the Internet, which can enhance and quicken their research. The library is available to the students during and after school hours, both as a lending library or a study room facility, with a qualified Librarian to assist and supervise the students. The library has all the facilities needed for visual presentations, lectures by guest speakers and cultural events.

The Grammar School believes that Physical Education is an intricate part of everyone's education and that young people need to exercise their bodies as well as their minds. Therefore as part of the second phase of construction the school expanded its sports facilities to include outdoor courts for basketball, volleyball and football.
In recognition that the school needs to provide even more for its students, the school is now rapidly proceeding to the third expansion of its facilities. This will include an indoor basketball court that can be easily converted to volleyball, handball and tennis courts. As the new building will be constructed on the existing football pitch, the roof of the building will be a mini-football pitch so that football is not excluded.
Surrounding the court the school plans to include individual exercise machines, such as stationary bicycles and treadmills.
There will also be modern changing rooms and showers for student use after their workouts.
All sporting contests can be viewed by the student body as the new building will have retractable stands that seat up to 700.

The school now offers two canteens where students can purchase snacks and refreshments. The larger canteen also offers a seating area where the students can sit and relax in between lessons and during free periods.
Once again in recognition that more spaces are required, the new building complex will include a modern canteen and covered seating area for its students. The canteen will expand its capabilities in order to meet students' demands and will include some hot snacks and refreshments as well.
The school also has a First Aid room and spacious toilets. The whole school is centrally heated. With the extension the school will also have handicap access.
