The Music and Drama Club
of our school has become a well established “inspirational
home” to many students for several years now as it has offered
them opportunities to act, sing or dance. Students can even contribute
to the many behind-the-scenes activities such as stage management,
make-up and other activities which are vital to any production.
At the Grammar School we believe that making music and developing
talent should be a social experience, with the participant learning
to work in a group, and having the satisfaction of being part
of something much larger.
There are groups for singers and instrumentalists for all ages
and abilities, playing classical and modern music.
Over the past years we have performed a variety of musicals. This
year we are planning to produce an innovative show called “Christmas
Spectacular” featuring heartwarming Christmas music, glamorous
choreography and much more.
